Reflexion - Perception Versus Perspective
Reflection
We all look at the world through our own perception. But perception is your interpretation of the world around you, but it is unique only to you.
Perception on its own does not give you any advantage. Some people may enter into arguements with other people trying to convince others of their own perception. The most valuable tool into getting ahead, convincing others of your opinion or winning an arguement is to focus on perspective not solely on your perception.
When you move from your perspective into perception, this places you in the strongest position. Perspective is the act or art of observing the world from outside of yourself. This could be by observing from a third persons point of view. Another more powerful way is to sit in the shoes or seat of the person opposite to you.
This gives you a chance to reflect on some pertinent questions. What is there life like right now? What do they feel right now? What emotions are they experiencing? Do they feel uncomfortable, scared, are they experiencing particular stressors?
When you shift places out of your own perception and into someone else’s perspective, now you are thinking like them. This gives you an advantage of better information, stronger positioning. You have an advantage that they don’t have. This can be applied to all areas and relationships in your life! Try this and see some amazing changes happen!
